Air Malta to Participate in the Malta International Airshow
Air Malta will this year participate in the Malta International Airshow with an Airbus A320 aircraft. The 20th edition of the air show will be held on the 29/30th September at Malta International Airport.
Air Malta said that powered by two CFM56-5B4/P engines, the Airbus A320 aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 77 metric tonnes, an overall length of 37.57m, and a wingspan of 34.1m. It’s cruising speed is 834 kilometres per hour and a maximum range of 4,055km.
Held annually in September, the Malta International Air Show is one of Malta’s largest outdoor family events. Over the years, the air show has attracted many interesting aircraft including F-14s,
F-15s, F-16s, F-18s, the L-39, A-4 Skyhawks, Tornados, the B-52, the Spitfire and the Hurricane.
The air show has also hosted national display teams including the Red Arrows, Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori, the Spanish team Patruila Aguoila, the Swiss PC-7 Team, the Breitling Jet team, and many other types of aircraft from all over the world.
