81-year-old hit by car, grievously injured

An 81-year-old woman from Paola sustained serious injures after she suffered from fractures when she was hit by a car in Triq Hal Saflieni, Paola at around 06:45hrs CEST on Saturday.
The police confirmed the woman was hit by a Fiat Punto driven by a 52-year-old man, also from Paola.
