The Armed Forces of Malta have reported that on Tuesday morning at 07:55 CEST, the AFM received a call from Police Headquarters regarding a suspect package under a vehicle in ‘14 December Street’ in Fgura. Personnel from the EOD section (3rd Regiment) were immediately dispatched to the area. These found a suspect parcel under the indicated van. After a thorough inspection on the scene, they manually disrupted the suspect parcel. Subsequently, this was retrieved using safety procedures and transferred to Pembroke AFM Ranges. The Police are currently investigating the case.
