Motorcyclist loses control, hits family

Family hit when motorcyclist lost control at Triq Ghajn Tuffieha, St Paul’s Bay, at around 10.30hrs CET. Two men, a woman and a baby were injured in a traffic accident.
The police said the family was hit by a Kawasaki Z 750, driven by a 23-year-old man from Marsascala. The bike then crashed into a wall and after into a Toyota Yaris, driven by a 38-year-old man from Mosta.
The driver of the Yaris was not injured however the 36-year-old woman was grievously injured, her baby suffered slight injuries, and a 32-year-old man and the driver of the motorcycle were also injured however his condition is not yet known. None of the injuries are of a critical nature.
Further investigations are underway.
