Four men were arrested in connection with investigations into theft of cables from a plant in Kirkop.

The police said they received reports of theft from the plant over the past week, then at around 23:00hrs CET on Friday the police observed a man trying to climb up a wall to enter the plant.

A search revealed the man was in possession of tools which may have been used in the theft of the cables. The police arrested him and another three men who were found hiding close to the plant.
