The police have arrested a woman, believed to be the Romanian, who allegedly defrauded a number of shops.

The police said the woman was arrested at Gzira seafront on Saturday evening. The woman was recognized from a picture circulating on social networks by a man in a Gzira shop, who called the police.

The police called on anyone who came into contact with this woman to call Sliema poice station on telephone 2294 3351/ 2431 or 21224001.
