A 34-year-old man from Marsascala suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident in Triq il-Kunsill tal-Ewropa, Luqa, at around 13:00hrs CET on Saturday. The police confirmed he is not in a critical condition.

The police said a Ford Focus, driven by a 24-year-old man from Luqa collided with a Yamaha YZF R6, driven by the 34-year-old man.

Further investigations are underway.
