Updated- Labour declares victory
PN media has reported PL’s victory with a majority of 36,000 reflecting into a 7 or 9 parliamentary seat majority. It is believed Alternattiva Demokratika won 1.8 per cent of the vote, with some 5,400 votes, should this be confirmed none of their candidates will be elected.
As the first samples have been counted, Labour has declared its victory for 2013 General Elections.
The bundles of 50 votes each are now being lowered to the counting agents as the sorting process started.
The counting process for the 2013 General Election is expected to start at Naxxar counting hall is expected to start at 11 a.m.
Conciliation of votes is started at 10p.m on Saturday, soon after the election polls were closed. Final turnout was at 93% was 0.3 less than in 2008.
