A 60-year-old man from Mosta tragically lost his life in a collision between a motorcycle and a BMW at Cirkewwa.

The police confirmed the 60-year-old man, driving the motorcycle, collided with a BMW, driven by a 64-year-old man, also from Mosta, at around 09:50hrs CET.

The victim was declared dead on site whereas the 64-year-old sustained no injuries.

Further investigations are underway.
