Pieta woman in critical condition after fall off horse

A 23-year-old woman from Pietà was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after falling off a horse in Wied is-Sewda, Qormi.
According to a police report, the accident happened at 1700CEST when the woman was horse-riding. She was taken for intensive care at Mater Dei Hospital. Magistrate Michael Mallia is leading an inquiry.
In a similar accident in February, 22 year-old Sarah Borg was seriously injured after falling off her horse at the Marsa racetrack.
