Armed men steal €11,000 in Mosta hold-up

A 46-year-old woman was held up by two armed men who ran away with €11,000 in cash stolen from her Mosta residence.
According to a police report, the two men first knocked at her home in Britannia Street at 0940CEST before demanding the cash once the woman, who was alone, opened the door.
One of them pointed a firearm at her and they The men forced their way in her house after pointing a gun at the woman who was alone at he time. She was not injured.
Magistrate Giovanni Griscti is leading an inquiry while police investigations continue.
