Chiara’s image for Moscow is being taken care of by a team of professionals with whom she has worked over the past months and years. Chiara will be representing Malta in Moscow with the ballad, ‘What if we’. The ballad-Queen will be competing with herself as she is determined to improve her previous two results at the same contest – second in 2005 and third in 1998.

Leading Maltese fashion designers, Charles and Ron from C&R will be taking care of her outfits.  Chiara’s team also includes award winning fashion make up artist, Diane Nikolic, OPI nail technician Angele Stafrace and hairstylists Alexander’s (Gzira) and Warren Tabone.

Malta will be singing in the 17th place, one place before last in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow to be held on the 12th May. Malta drew the first of three wildcards in the Eurovision running order which means that it had the chance to pick its own starting position in the first semi-final.

Regardless of whether Chiara makes it to the final round, Maltese televiewers will still get the opportunity to vote on the final night.

The 42 participating countries will cast their vote in the Final in the following order, determined by draw: Spain, Belgium, Belarus, Malta, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, Iceland, France, Israel, Russia, Latvia, Montenegro, Andorra, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Bulgaria, Lithuania, United Kingdom, FYR Macedonia, Slovakia, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, Turkey, Albania,Serbia, Cyprus, Poland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Portugal, Romania, Ireland, Denmark, Moldova, Slovenia, Armenia, Hungary and finally Azerbaijan.
