Chiara, Malta’s representative at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, has landed safely in Moscow together with the rest of the official Maltese Eurovision delegation.
TV crews from Moscow, including national TV station, Channel One, greeted her for her first interview as soon as she walked out of the security gates.

Despite the lengthy flight to Moscow, Chiara was in high spirits and greeted the TV crews awaiting her with beaming smiles. She remarked that she was not feeling the Eurovision thrill yet but is looking forward to starting her rehearsals on stage.

“I’m looking forward to being on that stage”, stated Chiara referring to the impressive stage built within the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, known locally as the Olimpiysky. “I am eager to meet all the Eurovision fans in Moscow and to live with them once again those special memories from Eurovision 1998 and 2005″.
