On Thursday night, Chiara was one of the special guests of the Belarussian Delegation at Euroclub for the party thrown in honour of their Eurovision 2009 hopeful, Petr Elfimov.

The line-up of special guests included the Russian megastar, Philip Kirkorov.  Chiara and Philip met previously in Kyiv in 2005.  Ever since, Kirkorov has been proposing to write a special song for Chiara.

Chiara and Philip Kirkorov met again last night at the Belarussian party, where they spared several beautiful words for each other.  Philip Kirkorov remarked how much he admired this year’s entries from Greece and Malta.

He said that he has already recorded a duet with Sakis and is now looking forward to do another duet this time with the Maltese Ballad Queen herself, Chiara.  To this Chiara remarked that she is ready to record this duet any time.

Kirkorov went on saying to the cameras surrounding the embracing couple, that he feels Chiara’s voice is haunting. ‘I feel like the snake hypnotised by the sound of the flute’, said Philip Kirkorov.

The Belarussian party went on with several artists taking the stage, among whom the Maltese artist who performed the club mix of her Eurovision 2009 entry.   The crowd went crazy for her performance on stage.  While, Anastasiya Tikhanovich, the hostess of the party described her as, ‘the real friend of Belarus’.

Meanwhile, backstage Chiara also met the Greek star, Sakis Rouvas who spared several beautiful remarks for each other.  Chiara and Sakis met in Greece during the Greek national final.  Chiara is well known in Greece as she  has visited the Mediterranean neighbouring country on different occasions and is considered as a red carpet artist among the Greeks.
