Indian film director to shoot romantic film in Malta
Indian film director and producer Gautham Menon, known for his different approach to a problem, has discovered a new location for Tamil films and shall be shooting his Simbu-Trisha romantic film Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya in Malta.
Abroad locales like Switzerland, Malaysia, Australia, and Thailand have already reached the saturation point and it’s also difficult to get visas to the US and the UK, The Times of India said
After having fun shooting in the backwaters of Kerala, the pair Simbu and Trisha are now shaking a leg for two songs composed by AR Rahman in Malta. The island is a hot favourite among Hollywood producers with many blockbuster movies, including the Bond series and Gladiator, have been filmed in the island, The Times of India said.
Recently, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor also shot a song for their Khambakt Ishq in Malta. Now, Gautham Menon has apparently become the first director from south India to shoot a film in Malta.
