The Lenovo Ideapad is part of the vast range of laptops, desktops, servers, handheld computers, imaging equipment and mobile phone handsets that the Lenovo Group produces. Lenovo Group Limited is the world’s third largest personal computer manufacturer since its 2005 purchase of IBM’s Personal Computing Division.
The company is dedicated to building exceptionally engineered personal computers and their business model is built on innovation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction as well as focusing on investments in the emerging markets. They strive to be a new world company that makes award-winning PCs for their customers.
The Lenovo Ideapad has a 10.2” screen, Intel Atom processors, 1GB RAM, 160GB Hard Drive and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and webcam incorporated. Moreover the netbook includes original Windows XP Home license. The netbook is being provided by GO in association with Smart Technologies, which was set up in 2008 and operates as an equipment leasing and IT outsourcing company to serve the local business community together with well-known giants in IT circles.
Joseph Aquilina, CEO of Smart Technologies Ltd, said: “When the discussions with GO started, both of us wanted to provide a service based on the fact that no matter what technology or service solution was chosen, in line with our mission, we wanted to create the best possible package available. GO’s mission was similar, and consequently this new product was developed.”
“Laptop Connect is definitely an innovative concept which helps in the various drives to make IT more accessible and cost not an issue, without compromising any of the service that one expects from both partners,” Mr Aquilina said.
