A 47-year old Libyan man residing in Bugibba was arrested after he was found in possession of heroin packets in Fra Diegu Square, Hamrun, on Sunday morning. The police had acted on a tip-off that the man was drug trafficking in the area.

The packets of heroin were ready to be trafficked.

The man is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.

The police are investigated.
