Scottish man extradited to Malta to face drug charges

A citizen of the United Kingdom from Scotland was extradited to Malta Wednesday night from London to face charges in connection with a substantial cannabis find on the 8th of September.
The extradition was carried out following a request from the Attorney General.
According to a police report, a number of people have already been arraigned in connection with the case including two Serbs, a British couple and a Maltese citizen.
The cannabis in question, found in a St Julians hostel and in a field near Madliena, is estimated to have a street value of €1.5 million.
