Archbishop Cremona hit by mild swine flu

The Arhcbishop’s Curia has confirmed that the Archbishop of Malta Pawlu Cremona has been hit by mild symptoms of the AH1N1 (swine flu) virus. Although he is able to continue with his work, he will rest for six days on the doctor’s advice.
Archbishop Cremona is the most prominent figure to catch the swine flu virus in the Maltese Islands. Two persons have died in the past few weeks after being infected.
The authorities have embarked on a campaign to inform the public on how to take basic precautions against the flu, such as washing the hands regularly.
