Slovakian caught importing kilo of cocaine

A 26 year-old man from Slovakia was arrested late on Wednesday when he was found carrying a kilo of cocaine in around 100 capsules.
According to police report, the man was acting in a suspicious manner at the airport soon after he arrived on a flight from Brussels in Belgium.
He was taken by the police to Mater Dei Hospital where he was found to be carrying the drugs.
The man, who has visited Malta on previous occasions, is expected to be charged in court on Friday.
An inquiry is being led by Magistrate Audrey Demicoli.
