The production team for Rex is currently in Malta till 8th November to film one of the episodes which was written specifically for Malta. This episode is being filmed in various parts of Malta including Valletta, Mdina, Vittoriosa and Marsaxlokk. This episode is being filmed in Malta thanks to the efforts of the Film Unit of the Malta Tourism Authority.

Meanwhile, American actor Ethan Hawk is also in Malta to take part in the filming of Moby Dick. Between one filming episode and another the American actor managed to find the time for some sightseeing.
