Man gets 10 years for raping his young niece

A man was jailed for 10 years on Friday evening after the jury found him guilty of raping his 7-year old niece 11 years ago.
The victim said she was raped 5 times at her grandmother’s house. The jury delivered a 6-3 guilty verdict on rape and 8-1 on defilement of the girl. The accused was 17 when the incidents happened. The court banned the publication of the names of the persons involved.
