Video: Auditor criticises MEPA board for approving Qala complex
Posted on November 13th, 2009
MEPA auditor Joseph Falzon has criticised the MEPA board for having approved the application for a complex at the Belvedere in Qala Gozo last July despite the complaints of the local council and the residents.
Following this approval various environmental NGOs had asked MEPA auditor Joseph Falzon to investigate. The main criticism falls on the back part of this complex which would ruin the aesthetics of the Belvedere and would have a negative impact on the value of surrounding properties.
