Sports, shopping facilities inaugurated at Palm City, Libya
Palm City residences, Mediterranean Investments Holding plc’s multi-million Euro real-estate development, recently inaugurated the first of a number of state-of-the-art sports and shopping facilities within the luxury village located a stone’s throw away from Tripoli, Libya, with facilities custom-created to cater for the needs of the ever-growing community of ex-pats.
Following the completion of a large percentage of its landscaping and public areas, Palm City tenants will now be able to enjoy the first of a number of sports facilities available within the complex and also the first of nine retail outlets which will offer services to its tenants in the central Piazza area.
“The four tennis courts and 5-a-side football pitch have proved to be very popular with our residents. As expected the Piazza and the Clubhouse will become the centre of Palm City’s social life and the community feeling is growing steadily as Palm City enters its seventh month of operation since welcoming its first tenant,” said Mr. Reuben Xuereb, Managing Director of Palm City.
With over one hundred families and around two hundred residents already living inside the luxury real estate development located in Janzour, the opening of the Palm City supermarket was one of the most eagerly-awaited retail outlet inauguration. The supermarket offers a wide variety of products, including fresh fish, fresh meat, daily baked bread, delicatessen, and ready-to-go meals and there are plans to offer home deliveries across the village in the near future.
“The next milestone will be the opening of our Food and Beverage outlets within Palm City. The focus of these three restaurants will be ‘fun and creativity’, with parents and kids alike being able to create their own menus and even have their own signature dishes appearing on the restaurant menu,” said Mr. Xuereb.
Residents inside Palm City have already been able to sample some items which will be on offer at these restaurants as the Food & Beverage team created a pre-launch menu served to tenants at the Palm City end of year party and are set to continue at upcoming events organised by the Palm City Customer service team in the run-up to the opening of further facilities.
