6-year-year jail term for drugs trafficker

24-year-old Jurgen Brincat from Marsa has been jailed for six years after he opted to plead guilty to drug trafficking charges instead of undergoing a trial by jury.
Mr Brincat admitted to trafficking in cocaine in St Julians in October 2005. He also admitted to having been in possession of cocaine and ecstasy which were not for his exclusive use. He was also fined €15,000.
