Archbishop Pawl Cremona, O.P. presented the sum of € 181, 000 to Fr. Martin Micallef, Director of the Dar tal – Providenza.

This sum was collected during the Open Day which the radio station Radju RTK organizes at the Dar tal –Providenza on the 1st of January.

Archbishop Cremona said that Radju RTK brought together two important roles of the Church, that of being a voice for everyone but especially for Christians and its social role within the Maltese community.

Fr. Martin Micallef, on his part, thanked the Radju RTK and the Maltese public for their contribution. He added that the Dar tal Providenza houses 100 persons with special needs and needs € 12, 000 on a daily basis to run the place.

The 13th Edition will officially start on the 30th December on Radju RTK and comes to an end on the 1st of January with an open Day at the Dar tal Providenza
