Video: Maladies and Melodies new venue at Auberge de Castille
The Venue for Maladies and Melodies, the concert presented by the European Union Baroque Orchestra on the 20th and 21st July has been change to Ambassador’s Room, Auberge de Castille, Valletta, the organisers announced.
The location has been changed from the previous President’s Palace Courtyard, Valletta as said in a statement by the MCCA (Malta Council for Culture and the Arts).
The European Union Baroque Orchestra is a highly acclaimed institution for its esteemed baroque ensembles but also as a training institution for young musicians leading to high standard professionals. This appearance for the Malta Arts Festival will mark the first ever performance that the Orchestra will give in Malta.
This event has been highly awaited since the European Union Baroque Orchestra is a world renowned institution and has performed in 52 different countries as an Ambassador for the European Union. The EUBO has also spread beyond European countries and played in world renowned locations as stated by the MCCA.
The programme will spread on two days, the 20th and 21st of July and will start at 21:00 hrs CEST. Tickets for the performance are at €15, with concessions for students and senior citizens at €10. Children of 12 years and under may enter free.
