A 77 year-old man is being treated for shock after he was held up in his residence by two hooded robbers in Qormi on Tuesday night, the police said in a statement.
The incident happened at around 1910CET in Main Road, Qormi. The robbers entered the man’s residence and demanded cash.
Cash and jewellery were stolen from the elderly man’s residence.
Magistrate Dr. C Scerri Herrera LL.D. was informed of the incident and a number of experts were appointed to help in the inquiry.
