Parliamentary secretary Chris Said has said that in the first 6 months this year, 4,500 tonnes were collected in the grey rubbish bags and another 3,200 tonnes from bring-in sites in Attard.

Attard separated the greatest amount of waste on average with each of the residents separating 0.78 kilogrammes of recyclable waste each week. This was double the national average.
