Gas prices increase on Wednesday
On Wednesday the price of a 10 kilogramme gas cylinder will increase by 20 cents, whereas the price for lose kilogramme will increase by 5 cents, Liquigas Malta Ltd said.
In a statement Liquigas also confirmed that the price for both the 12 and 15 kilogramme gas cylinders will increase by 30 cents. The 25 kilogramme cylinder will increase by 50 cents.
The price of gas per lose kilogramme bought in bulk increased only by 1 cent.
The prices now stand at €1.20 per loose gramme, €11.30 per 10 kilogramme cylinder, €13.40 and €16.30 per 15 and 25 kilogramme respectively, €26.20 per 25 kilogramme cylinder and €1.06 for loose kilogrammes when bought in bulk. These prices apply for LPG mixtures only.
These adjustments resulted from monthly review according to Malta Resources Authority’s methodology, Liquigas Malta said. They added that distributors must abide to these prices and cannot charge more than the mentioned rates.
