Two youths aged 17 and 18 from Fgura were arrested on Monday evening after they were caught red-handed during a theft in an MCAST building in Paola.

At around 20:30 hrs CEST the watchman heard various noises and after investigating the source he found one of the youths stealing some tools which are being used for refurbishment of the building.

The watchmen then called the police who took the youths to the Paola police station where they were remanded in custody, Favourite Channel News reports.

Police inspector Alex Grech is heading further investigations.
