Two drivers injured in Rabat car crash

Two men were injured in a head-on collision at Triq il-Buqana in Rabat, on Thursday afternoon.
The driver of a Peugeot 405, aged 33 from Qormi was serious injured whereas the 60-year-old driver of a Ford Transit, from Zurrieq sustained minor injuries.
According to a police statement, the road that leads from Rabat to Mgarr, was temporarily closed to traffic.
Meanwhile, according to The Times, in another incident nearby, a car broke free from a truck which was towing it and crashed into a stationary police motorcycle, toppling it. No one was injured.
