Video: 55million LM banknote still in circulation

After three years since the Euro was introduced in Malta the Central Bank said that 55 million Maltese pound banknotes are still in circulation, they added that in the first months of 2010 they processed €1 billion and €1.5 billion in exportation and importation respectively.
Furthermore they said that in June of 2010 € 680 million in banknotes and almost € 39 million coin were issued.
