On Sunday afternoon a 40-year-old man, resident in Msida, crashed with his truck into an electricity pole at Santa Lucija, he sustained serious injuries although he is in a stable condition.

Di-Ve reported at around 16:05hrs CEST, the man lost control of his Isuzu Elf, crashing into a pole and a couple of trees.

The Civil Protection Department were called on site and extracted the man which was then rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.
