31-year-old woman stabbed in Ta’ Xbiex

On Sunday night a 31-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay was stabbed and seriously injured in Ta’ Xbiex.
The police confirmed that at around 23:40hrs CEST, the woman called to inform them that she had just been stabbed in Sir Ugo Mifsud Street.
The woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where she is being treated for her serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani is leading an inquiry.
