On Tuesday Xatt il-Pwales, Xemxija will be closed to vehicular traffic from the Olympic Grove Roundabout , at Triq San Pawl, up to the roundabout junction near the Xemxija Church.

Transport Malta said the road will be closed between 03:30hrs and 06:00hrs CEST due to asphalting works.

Vehicular traffic from Triq San Pawl (Veċċa area), St Paul’s Bay and the St. Paul’s Bay Bypass, in the direction towards Mellieħa, will proceed through Triq Għajn Tuffieħa and the Manikata-Mellieha link road.

Vehicular traffic from Mġarr towards Mellieħa will proceed through Manikata and the Manikata-Mellieħa link road.

Vehicular traffic from Mellieħa towards Xemxija will not be affected.
