50-year-old woman seriously injured in crash

On Monday morning a 50-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash in Marsascala.
The police said that at around 09:00hrs CEST the car driven by the 50-year-old woman from Marsascala, driving a Toyota Tercel, was involved in a collision with a Suzuki Alto driven by a 72-year-old man from Gozo, at Triq id-Dahla ta’ San Tumas in Marsascala.
The woman was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where she is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Further investigations are underway.
