28-year-old seriously injured in crash

Early on Saturday morning a 28-year-old man from Mosta was seriously injured in a crash at St Paul’s Bay.
The police confirmed that at around 1:40hrs CEST the man, driving a VW Golf, crashed into a Befrod TL truck parked in St Paul Street, St Paul’s Bay.
The man was rescued from the wreckage by the Civil Protection Department and rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Further investigations are underway.
