Rediscovering the Grand Master’s Palace
A lecture series under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Dr George Abela, President of Malta are being held at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.
The talks, co-ordinated , will spread from the oncoming October up to May 2012by Comm. Salvator Musu and will deal with the Palace itself. Appropriately enough they will be delivered under the overall theme “Rediscovering the Grand Master’s Palace” which, as everyone knows, is so rich in its historical past and enviable artistic heritage.
The lecturers, all specialists in their particular field of study and knowledge, will discuss their interventions on the various aspects of the Palace that range from past vicissitudes, to paintings, tapestries, way of life and architecture.
All lectures, if not advised otherwise, will be held on the last Monday of every month at 1800hrs, with half an hour for questionnaire / discussion, starting on Monday, 31st October 2011 and ending on Monday 28th of May 2012.
Entrance is free and the general public is invited. Seating is limited and will be on first come, first served basis.
