Cable fault in Xlendi leads to suspension of supply
Enemalta Corporation would like to inform the general public that due to a cable fault in Xlendi, parts of the locality are currently without electricity supply. Enemalta employees have been trying to reconnect the substation for the past few hours but the cable fault has resulted in the tripping of a particular substation.
Enemalta technicians are currently trying to locate the high tension cable fault which is causing the trip. As soon as the fault is located, repairs on the cable will start. Enemalta employees are doing their utmost to restore supply in the shortest time possible.
The streets affected are; Triq il-Bizantini, Triq il-Kantra, Triq il-Kavallieri, Triq Merkurju, Triq il-Punici, Triq il-Qsajjam, Triq ir-Rumani, Triq it-Torri and Triq il-Qsajjam.
Enemalta would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this power interruption.
