The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts is organising ArtsTalk on Thursday 23rd February at 7.30 hrs at the Mgarr Oratory. ArtsTalk will consist of a talk about How your organisation can benefit from The Malta Arts Fund Strand 2: Organisation Support Grant. If you have an arts project in mind, or are stuck on where to begin when it comes to funding, join us on the 23rd February at 7.30pm to find out more about what the Malta Arts Fund entails.

This informal session, intended for prospective applicants, will discuss and present tips on how to submit a quality proposal whilst also answering questions and queries which may arise. The sessions will also include overviews of other possible funding opportunities.

Malta Arts Fund, guidelines and application forms are available for download from www.maltaculture.com. The next deadline for submissions is 28th February 2012.

The sessions will also provide a platform for prospective applicants to discuss individual queries. Moreover, ArtsTalk will involve other issues affecting the arts in Malta or other opportunities for artists.

From time to time ArtsTalk will also include conversations with established and emerging contemporary artists who work in diverse mediums. They will discuss their work, their creative process and the most current issues in contemporary art. With an audience drawn from the cultural sector and the general public, ArtsTalk promises lively and insightful debates.
