A 30-year-old man was critically when his car crashed into an electricity pole in Attard, early on Sunday morning.

The police confirmed that the 30-year-old, driving a Toyota crashed into an electricity pole in Notary Zarb Street at around 05:15hrs CET.

The man was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is receiving treatment for his critical injuries

Further investigations are underway.
