Maltese nationals travelling to Kuwait no longer need to apply for a visa prior to their trip. All Maltese nationals will be granted a visa upon arrival to Kuwait.
This agreement follows a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Dr Tonio and the Emir Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in Kuwait last June.
Over 150 Kuwaiti students are studying at the University of Malta. Malta opened an Embassy in Kuwait last month following the opening of an Embassy by Kuwait in Malta.
