Four-car collision, man injured

A four-car collision in Imdina Road, between Attard and Balzan, left a 28-year-old driver grievously injured.
The police said the accident took place at around 05:20hrs CEST between a Fiat Tempra, driven by a 28-year-old man from Imtarfa and a Honda Accord, driven by a 30-year-old man from Attard with a Vauxhall Astra, driven by a 44-year-old man from Rabat, and another unknown vehicle later colliding with the first two vehicles.
The driver of the Fiat Tempra was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he is being treated for grievous but not life-threatening injuries.
Police investigations are under way.
