In light of continuing public concern about milk products in China, SMA Nutrition has issued a statement saying that it wishes to reassure parents and caregivers that SMA Nutrition’s infant and toddler formula products continue to be a safe and nutritious choice.
“Our products are not involved or affected by the infant formula recall currently taking place in China.” SMA said and stated that it does not source any raw milk from China to produce its infant nutrition products.
“All SMA products undergo rigorous quality assurance assessments throughout the manufacturing process. These assessments are designed to ensure that our products comply with or exceed all applicable food standards. Our rigorous systems include numerous in-process controls during production, and the completion of hundreds of quality tests on the formula product throughout its manufacture. “ the statement said.
