Five Maltese have so far applied for the ‘best job in the world’ as advertised by the Queensland Tourism Authority.

The ‘best job in the world’ entails being the caretaker of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

The main duty of the caretaker is to report back to Tourism Queensland (and the world) to let know what is taking place on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

Pierre Azzopardi, 35, from Swieqi seems the one with the best prospect of getting the job.

Mr. Azzopardi applied for the job by submitting a video where he has been ranking between the 11th and 28th place on the Most Popular link. Indeed, after featuring in local news paper he ranked in first place for a while.
