My child will stay in Malta, Chiara says
In an interview with Liza Petersen from Melodigrandprixfans.dk, the site of the Danish OGAE club, it was revealed that Chiara, Malta’s representative in this year’s Eurovision song contest, will leave her child in Malta during the Eurovision week as she needs to concentrate completely on her task in Moscow.
“If I remember correct – you are also a mother now. Will you bring your child to Moscow?”, asked Lisa from Melodigrandprixfans.dk to the Maltese singer. Chiara replied: “No I would love to have her with me but I feel that if she is there I will not be able to concentrate completely on my job there and if she stays here with family I will be more relaxed knowing she is taken care off as best as she can be.”
Chiara will represent Malta for the third time at the Eurovision Song Contest. She is determined to go through the semifinal phase, on 12th May and beat her personal record on the final of 16th May. Previously, she ranked third (1998) and second (2005).
Full version of the interview is published on Melodigrandprixfans.dk.
